I understand that taking part in the Vieques Audubon Christmas Bird Count on the Island of Vieques, Puerto Rico, is my choice and involves some risk, including the possibility of injury, death, or damage to myself or my property. I understand that the event is sponsored by the National Audubon Society and organized with partners including the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge (VNWR), the Vieques Conservation and Historical Trust (VCHT), Para la Naturaleza (PLN), Ticatove, the Sociedad Ornitológica Puertorriqueña (SOPI), the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER), and the Municipality of Vieques.
By attending the event, I agree not to hold these organizations or their staff, volunteers, officers, or representatives responsible for any injury, loss, or damage related to my participation, now or in the future, and I understand that this agreement takes effect simply by my attendance.

Entiendo que mi participación en el Conteo Navideño de Aves de Audubon en Vieques, que se llevará a cabo en la Isla de Vieques, Puerto Rico, es voluntaria y conlleva ciertos riesgos, incluyendo la posibilidad de lesiones, muerte o daños a mi persona o a mi propiedad. Entiendo que el evento es auspiciado por la National Audubon Society y cuenta con la colaboración del Vieques National Wildlife Refuge (VNWR), el Vieques Conservation and Historical Trust (VCHT), Para la Naturaleza (PLN), Ticatove, la Sociedad Ornitológica Puertorriqueña (SOPI), el Departamento de Recursos Naturales y Ambientales (DRNA) y el Municipio de Vieques.
Al asistir al evento, acepto relevar de responsabilidad y no responsabilizar a estas organizaciones ni a su personal, voluntarios, oficiales o representantes por cualquier lesión, pérdida o daño relacionado con mi participación, ahora o en el futuro, y entiendo que este acuerdo entra en vigor simplemente con mi asistencia.
