We enjoy life, travel, and living in the woods, as well as spending time in Vieques during the winter months. Our home in Virginia sits in a 16-acre mixed-use forest where we hunt for mushrooms, swim in the pond, and walk in the woods.

We like to travel with small suitcases and find local places to eat, read, relax, and have fun. We love all kinds of food, especially seafood and dishes from Central and South America, the Far East, and, of course, Puerto Rico! We both love to read and love the water.

Over the years, we have lived on the West Coast, on the East Coast, and in between. We consider ourselves lifelong learners, continually amazed by what we don’t know and by the beauty of the world around us. Together, we have four adult children scattered across the country, including New York City, Richmond (Virginia), and Alexandria (Virginia). In this collection of children, spouses, and partners, we also have dogs and grandchildren, who are all delightful!

Family is important to us, as well as building relationships with new and interesting people from all walks of life. We enjoy hosting friends and family at our home in Virginia and feel that our relationship with Airbnb is just another way to welcome others into the community we love and into our home away from home in Puerto Rico.
